Description
The Reflector is the only type that is naturally designed to meet a life in which the Mystery of human identity is the only rule and Mutation the only law that is a constant in the world of form, which explains why everything they learn and everyone they meet in this life just keeps them moving further and further away from themselves into deeper layers of disappointment.
The surprising magic that they were born with slowly disappears under the layers and layers of conditionings that they identify with, as they meet the homogenizing roles and rules of civilization that define the hierarchies of the world and mark the daily lives of humans on the mundane plane. This is what they know and cannot love, because in civilization the roles and rules of love is one of the most homogenized and blinding human games.
Like the shadow side of the other three types throws them back into confrontation with themselves, disappointment for the Reflector is a fuel that confronts them with what does not matter, and gives them an opportunity to surrender and embrace the Unknown with the wisdom and uncertainty provided by the openness in their design, feeling the human helplessness of ‘breathing and not knowing’ hiding underneath the homogenized expression of human masks.
Reflectors are not here to trust what they know, but they are here to trust what they don’t know yet. They are here to trust life itself and all the surprises it can always bring through their openness when they are not mentally attached to anything, which demands a deep exploration of the distorted fears and artificial masks that are responsible for the homogenization of human consciousness and behavior.
